Yes, my coupon has a picture of the box that holds 5 packages of the rice. Are you in west Toronto, or western Canada?

Hopefully, they'll be in my RCSS when I check it out this week.

They did. There are approximately 7 or 8 boxes left, so if you hurry, you can get one! No red envelope though. My location was Don Mills and Eglinton.

I was wondering if anyone here won VIA Rail Gift Certificates? If they are under your name are they transferable? I don't think I can use them before they expire and dont want them to go to waste so I would like to give to friends. Let me know if anyone knows!

I won a cross Canada VIA rail certificate (from the YMCA Localmotion contest last year - https://blog.ymcagta.org/blog/2017/02/2 ... calmotion/ ) and it said right on it that it's not transferrable / can not be listed for sale etc.
2015 wins: 89 wins / $29,632 - 2016 wins: 79 wins / $59,590 - 2017: 53 wins / $35,518 - 2018 to date: 33 wins / $10,100

Yes I know - I saw just wasn't sure if there was a way or exception where I can go buy it for them - sadly it will go to waste then :(

I know it says that, but do you really need a name and do they check when you go travelling within Canada? It seems silly. On a side note, I lost my credit card once and someone bought a via train ticket with it lol. It was cancelled, but anyways, yeah. Good luck. I don't really know the buying procedure with cash, or the whole name policy. Anyone a rider of the VIAstorm?

If you live close to a VIA train station, it would never hurt to try! Hope it doesn't go to waste! good luck!

Via Rail has the right to check your ID at any time against your ticket, although in my experience, they just scan your pass. I wouldn’t travel with a ticket not in my own name, just because I’d worry the whole time that I’d be the one time they check. ;)

If anyone is still looking for the special Uncle Bens boxes, finally saw them at Superstore this week (Atlantic). They are not in the rice aisle, they have their own special display, in my store it was by the meats. $11.88, but I had a no purchase coupon.

No red envelope for me.

I won $2,500 worth (4 certificates) back in 2013 from Days Inn and ended up giving them to someone - we lived in Northern Manitoba at the time and couldn't really go too far for $2,500...

Anyways, I assume the person I gave them to didn't have any trouble using them since I didn't hear otherwise! Smiling Face With Open Mouth

Has anyone received any latest update on their KtichenAid prize from the Rogers Lantic contest?
I've sent another email this week for an update and nothing yet.

No. I reached out last week and they said they've sent the winning list to the KitchenAid rep and that they'd follow up.

Last I heard was on March 5th. They're still awaiting confirmation.
Wishing everyone a lucky 2018!
