This may be the wrong place to ask, but I couldn't find another spot to post this.

for the past week the forum contest page looks differently. No search section. Just a straight listing of the contest posts. Does anyone know how I can get the page to show the search section and the page the way it was before?
Quick question, when you look at the address bar in your browser, what's the URL? Is it:

1. http://forums.redflagdeals.com....., or

2. http://f.redflagdeals.com....., or

3. http://m.redflagdeals.com.....

If it's either 2 or 3, then you've somehow wound up in one of the mobile versions of RFD and you need to scroll down to the bottom of the page and choose "Desktop Version".

When I click on the link that I have saved and always use it comes up with this:

http://f.redflagdeals.com/forumdisplay. ... type=basic

That would be option (2).

So go to the bottom of the page where it says:
Don't want to use the mobile version?
Try the standard version of RedFlagDeals.com
And click on "Try the standard version"

Ok, for the MLP issue I believe it is DNS related, but I already flushed mine locally and it made no difference. I connected and entered on my smartphone, which has a different IP and DNS, which is what lead me to this conclusion. I've too much going else going on to warrant dropping my whole network to do a full flush which is probably what's required to resolve it, although if it is at the ISP level then there's nothing to be done but wait. It should update within ~24hrs (which is why valeriey can now access the site again, and why we now cannot).

Aye, me neither.

And neither is the Winners Fashion Game.
For the Winners Fashion Game I get "Disallowed Key Characters." in FF

in IE, the entire page is nested under itself and continues to nest each time I click on the game tab.

?

I've got a semi-contest related question, it's about Pinterest.

So in the Starbucks "It's Possible" Pinterest contest, I noticed that people have been re-pinning some of my pins (I can't believe I'm actually writing that :facepalm :) and not just the image but they've been copying my text word-for-word as well.

Copying the image doesn't bother me since they're all presumably being used under the "fair use" provisions of copyright law (and I found them floating around on the internet any way, so who am I to be the pot calling the kettle black?). But copying the text verbatim does bother me a bit, because I wrote it myself.

Is that "legal" from a contest standpoint?

I think Pinterest is so new to so many ppl Ronin that they don't even think to change the txt when they pin a picture. Took me a while when I first started using pinterest to even think about it. So in all probability they aren't purposely using your txt they are just pinning something they see.

OK, that makes sense thanks.

Will it matter from a contest standpoint though? (i.e. do the contest admins even look at the pins and where they came from?)

I found my email on this site.

Marketing company webpage with all of the entries information. No idea what contest it was. [URL redacted]

Might want to check if your email and all your info is on there.
A little context might help? When did you get this email, and from whom?

I googled my email and name.

It's a little creepy knowing someone can figure out my address and phone number from that site. There's a lot of people from this site on there.
