This year was easily the worst for me in terms of contest wins. I can only hope everyone in the same boat has better luck in 2018.

Here's my total win list for the year:

2 cetaphil products from cetaphil halloween contest - ?? value - October 27th
3 free product coupons from Olivieri's facebook contest - $24 value - October 6th
$100 cash from Western Union contest (instant winner) - $100 value - September 19th
t-fal cookware set, actifry, toaster, kettle, t-fal pans from Burnbrae contest - $1180* value - September 15th
free oil change certificate from jiffy lube - $80 value - July 26th
Autobot lunchbox from valvoline contest- $20 value - May 21st
set of books from canadian living contest - $120 value - March 21st
$5 cheque from monopoly contest - January 26th

*That burnbrae prize pack is obviously my biggest prize of the year, but they really valued it too high. You could buy the exact same items and spend less than half.

I also realized this year ends my win at least 1 trip a year streak.

2016 - Mexico
2015 - London
2014 - Banff
2013 - Vancouver

Congrats to everyone and good luck in 2018!

It was a crappy year for me, I didn't even bother tracking for the first time in years. I also was super busy this year and did a lot less blog contesting and twitter partying, so some of the lack of wins was prob due to my lack of time spent.

I’ve won some gift cards and some prize packs, a bunch of movie tickets I don’t usually count, and likely some small wins I’ve forgotten. Prob $1000 value or so. My friends and family have been loudly complaining about the contest box of goodies being mostly empty this year. (Visits to my house usually include trolling the contest box for stuff)

I did take a trip I won to Boston in May, but I won it last year, does that count? ;)

Here’s to a lucky (ier) 2018!

My second year contesting wasn’t as big as my first, but $1283.94/11 contest wins is still great! Plus, half of the prizes ended up under my tree. My kids were thrilled! Thanks to everyone who posts and shares contests. Happy New Year!

I thank every RFD person who realizes that every win is a win regardless of value - please be thankful for the prizes you consider “too small to mention” they might be bigger than a lot of us have won and in the spirit of your wins motivating us , please share the deets, I will be adding up my wins tomorrow and even though not huge to some - they are huge to me and I will happily share all!

2017 was a great year. My total # of wins is way down...but it just takes one big win to make it worthwhile. I'm currently on my longest stretch without a win. It started when I switched from entering contests early morning to late evening. Coincidence? Many many thanks to everyone that takes the time to post contest. You are appreciated. :)

June 6 eTalk Wonder Women Trip to Greece $8025

2017 8 wins/$9,088 2016 - 16 win/$8,960 2015 - 20 wins/$6,333 2014 - 19 wins/$1,187 2013 - 22 wins/$1,664, 2012 - 21 wins/$10,259, 2011 - 1 win/$5,000 The person that said winning isn't everything, never won anything. ~Mia Hamm

This is my third year contesting. This is my second best year, my total is $2,025 . I had less wins then in 2016, but they were worth more. I'm happy with my 2017 wins. Looking forward to an awesome 2018.

Good Luck everybody. May the Force be with you.

I won about $2,000 worth of prizes this year.

Lots of "second prizes" which make me laugh when I tell my family, "Hey, I didn't win the [insert amazing prize] but I did get a second prize." These included: $100 Lowe's GC, $100 Lindt GC, $100 Richardo GC, $50 Mastercard, $50 Visa card, $10 Timmy's GC, $25 McDonalds GC, $20 Blue Jays GC

My favourite prize was an Arcteryx jacket - it's one of the best jackets I've owned - comfy and warm.

Other prizes were: 20 or so books, a flashlight, BBQ tools, a ton of beauty products from TSC and a pizza coupon.

Best luck to all in 2018 and many thanks to all who shared contests, tags, etc.

Has anyone won a GC from the Loblaws Bahamas contest (not the Maui one)? I won two instant wins of $100 each and answered the STQ but they never followed up with me on email and now I had placed a follow up call to PC and have called again with no reply yet!
