Converting VHS to computer file.
I want to input my old VHS tape into my file. What good and cheap video card that have RGB input?

Or if you (or a friend) have camcorder that has RCA input cable AND firewire, then you can use Windows Movie Maker or similar.
Connect the camcorder to VCR via the composite video and analog (L-R) audio cables and set the camcorder to "Line-In" (or record mode). Then use the firewire cable to connect to your PC/laptop (or borrow someone's Mac) and launch Movie Maker to capture the video. (Windows 7 Movie Maker only creates WMV files, but are easily converted.)

Many video shops will do this for you. If you just have one VHS tape you want to convert, and you aren't already set up for it, it's cheaper and easier to get someone else to do it for you.

Hehe ... if you live in the Vancouver area and use Windows XP, and want a CHEAP way to make the conversions, I have a WinFast TV2000 XP Deluxe (BNIB) that I believe can convert VHS tapes into a digital format that I'm selling for a dollar!
