Corn Gluten Meal
I'm planning to put some down this March to hopefully help with the weed issues on my lawn. I've been doing some research and found a store close to me in Hamilton that said I'd need 60lbs to do my 3000 sq foot lawn. The sell 40lbs bags for $34; this seems like a decent deal to me, what do you think?
Also, I was planning on using my Scotts Rotary Spreader that I bought from Costco last summer. Going by the recommended ammount of GCM that I'll need, I should be spreading this at 20lbs/1000 sq feet. I did a quick search on Google and from what I found, I should set the opening on the spreader to 20. I don't really remember the dial going up that high, so I'll have to get into my shed and have a look.

I tried it and dandelions were just as bad. Timing is apparently critical. Section was greener later in the season but I expect I could have achieved that with fertilizer for less $.
