The only billable options you have is CD and Detailed Billing, to get 911 and SAF included @ $30 is a good price. Ask for a free phone as well

I got a pretty similar plan on Rogers, except it's $23 + SAF + 911, which is acutally pretty much the same. I think it's a pretty good deal.

bell sucks... you get stuck with their overpriced crappy 2nd tier phones for the length of your contract.

bwhahaha... currently i'm using a Samsung X800,but unlike bell, its GSM so i have mulitiple phones that i switch between, and none of them are bell's ultimate crappy phones. $550 bought it for. and it most certainly is not bell quality

Nov 28th, 2005 11:57 AM #11I'm sure you meant to say CDMA, as TDMA is the base technology of GSM. Bell's phone's are not afterthoughts. I paid 149 for my Moto E815. (Thanks bell for paying for most of my phone). I also get unlimted web browsing and data from bell.

Read up, even GSM providers are now using WCDMA for their new high speed edge networks. GSM is a dying technology.

there is also a reason why most of the world is on GSM, and the new WCDMA is not what bell is using

so unless you like to be never able to buy non bell phones and use 2nd tier equipment, bell is the way to go.
Bell is great for people who don't care about features, reception, phones, no ability to buy from elsewhere, non compatability with rest of the world and don't care about being able to switch phones in less than a min with all the contacts and info switching as well.
bell is great if you just want a portable payphoneLast edited by gilboman; Nov 28th, 2005 at 02:48 PM.

if you can get a ROGERS corporate plan, that'd be great. I'm not a huge fan of bell. reason(s) because the reception in/around the Univ. of Waterloo/Laurier area is pretty crappy.
