Now that the carriers are splitting out phone financing (i.e. they finally decided that they weren't going to take a hit on subsidies), the deals are not as good. Even the good deals here aren't great.

Hoping for a better deal on the XS Max

Telus EPP $87.50 for 50GB vs. my current Rogers $65 for 11GB....seems like a good $22.50 investment?

There is $300 off for whatever device price is on Telus website. So $300/24 = $12.5 saving per month over consumer pricing.

The only issue I have with these plans is that there is no "Roam like Home/Easy Roam" available when you leave Canada, you have to pay $1.50/minute and $5/MB. (The Can/US plan isn't worth it for me to pay an additional $8.50/mth as I travel outside of the US as well.)
Telus's Easy Roam is $8/day for USA and $12/day for international. I usually use about $50-$60 worth once a year when we go on our cruise. Definitely something that gives me pause, as I am currently on a 6GB for $65 and I have this option.

Thank you. Tried my work email on a whim and it turns out I qualify. Only thing I don't like about Telus is the mandatory financing though I see the other two going in that direction sooner than later.

The share plans would be nice if additional lines could just be voice plans. Otherwise not seeing much incentive to switch off the $70 15GB plan for this.
