there is a big range for price....

it will depend on how your wisdom teeth was grown...the position...the difficulty of removing it...

the harder to remove, the more it will cost...

if u are removing all four...each of them could possibly be a different price...

you also need to pay for the xrays...the anasestics...etc

also depends on how much pain you want to feel. you can get laughing gas which i think is the cheapest, then an..anesth...drugs that make it so you cant feel anything. or just pass out drugs. Cant remember how much i paid

You're looking at $1000-1500 for all 4

Yep. Better hope you have dental insurance.

Mine was around 2K .... That includes putting me to sleep, taking them out, multiple return visits and meds.

Insurance covered most of it.

general rule of thumb is $250 per tooth for easy ones and upwards of $500 per tooth for intricate work or teeth that have gone on tour up into your face.

I was knocked out for mine when I was about 21. Both my uppers moved up towards my nasal area and wrapped themselves in nerves. They had to go along with my lowers that started moving too. But at the hospital when I was under they decided that my uppers were too complicated and would be dangerous to remove and never took them out =/

btw I have a nasty scar on the corner of my lower lip because apparantly a nurse used the wrong sheath on a cauterizing gun and it burned me. Nice bonus to wake up with lemme tell ya.

My brother just had his pulled out last Monday. The bill came to a total of 1200 for the surgery and another 100 for the initial consultation. He had all four of his wisdom teeth removed.

I had all 4 removed a week ago in Mississauga.
The price does vary a little depending on the condition they are in before the surgery (impacted/breaking through the skin/etc.).
My cost breakdown:
$160 for the initial consulation
$1700 for the surgery and everything (I opted for the deluxe package with full general anesthetic).
$80 to fill a prescription for Percocets and antibiotics.

So with a bit of rounding I'd say $2000 was the final cost.
I didn't however shop around or go for the cheapest, I just went for the one closes to my house (and I was referred there by my dentist too).

From what I heard it is fairly normal to pay around $1500

Just one? I'd recommend getting all 4 done in one swoop, you wouldn't wanna go through that again!
