[Costco] Costco - $100.00 off a BB Bold

Just picked up a new activation on a BB Bold at the wireless ETC kiosk at Costco .(all locations have one)

$399.00 plus tax less $100.00 in Costco cash that you can use at cashier when you pay for your phone.

$100.00 Costco cash is based on $50.00 rebate for the Data Plan (6G) and $50.0 for the EPP voice plan

As well, I got a free car charger and case..

Also picked up a Fido phone for my sister on the EPP and another $50.00 Costco Cash for that deal too!

And you get 3 months unlimited local calling on both plans...

That's definitely a pretty hot deal! One thing to keep in mind if you're a business user, however -- the $30/6GB/mo plan does NOT support BES!

Wait.. so that's $400 * 1.13 - $100 = $352 for a BB Bold? without any contracts?

which network is it locked to? or is it unlocked? :D

... it's locked to Rogers and likely with a 3 yr contract.

The mandatory 3 year contract.

Basically it's the same deal you can get directly through Rogers but they give you $100.00 in Costco cash as a rebate.. (New activations)

BTW, Iphones do not get any Costco cash due to Apple/Rogers dictated price points.

My unlocked e71 I purchased recently is looking sweeter and sweeter. The bold is an amazing phone but 3 year contracts at the prices out right now is a bit silly.

I guess I'm a select few who thinks that though.

Hey, so for activating a Rogers "EPP" plan, it is eligible for $50 costco cash? That's with any phone except iphone?

And by "EPP" you're referring to the $17.50 (200 mins + unlimited E/W @6 ?)

And is it available with the fido EPP? Since I would prefer that over the rogers, per second billing and 5pm E/W.

Since I'm either gonna get the EPP, or try to find a plan/contract b4 end of october. Thanks.

as said, enterprise., If you don't know what it is...it probably doesn't affect you in any way at all.

to_munda., come on now., who the hell is still this naive to assume ANYTHING of the sort without a 3yr contract?

Let's face it folks., the days of a stellar 'no contract' deal HAVE NEVER.....and WILL NEVER be revisisted LOL. Even those con SOLO/Virgin/etc etc advertise 'no contract' deals., but to get even the cheapest phone you HAVE to sign a 1yr contract or more to discount the hardware. It's all marketing.

THERE ARE NO CONTRACT SPECIALS lol. :o

Actually a lot of the Solo kiosks offered a free phone on no contract, or most, (atleast in bc) will give you a phone for $50 no contract.
