I am curious about people's thoughts regarding the M65-E0 in-store at 1399 vs. the Vizio P55-E1 55- currently on sale and available online at Costco for 1499 (and maybe cheaper in-store, although I did not see the P55 at my local Etobicoke store).

link ...
I have the p50 for 999. I would say 1500 for p55 is way too expensive and m65 is a better deal as local dimming is not that big deal for the price.

So the M55-E0 is now on sale for $45 off. Mine is still within the 90 day return period but the 14 day "price protection" has expired.

Does anyone have experience collecting the difference in this case? I don't want to unmount my tv to return and purchase at the new price. I also think it's a bit inconvenient to have to buy a new one and walk back in with the old receipt. Anyone have success just bringing the receipt and stating the obvious?

Thanks for the update! Were you outside the 14 day price protection period? I'm curious because that's my situation right now. Did you just walk up with your old receipt?

It's supposed to be 30 days for a price adjustment. If they say otherwise, ask to speak to a manager, and then if they refuse to do it mention the obvious

no need to bring the tv itself to the store for price adjustment.
tho it wasnt simple. rep made me buy the same tv from the store and then took it back immediately. said it gives her the required paper trail. waste of about an hour...

I think I was at 15 days. The process took about 10mins and I didn't have to physically return the tv. I talked to one of the store associates before I bought the tv who said I could come back even after 30 days and get a price adjustment if needed. He said they're not worried about it.

FYI guys the extra sale price ended yesterday. New price is regular with today's date.

Edit - this is in AB. The $45 off for the 55" as an example expired on Aug 14.

I brought the receipt only and aside from the 10+ min wait in line it onnly took 3-4 mins for her to look it up in the system and give me the difference back.

Can someone help me to understand If this Vizio TV series has the US based Amazon Video app or just the Canadian one (Amazon Prime Video)?

Thanks
