Costco Almond Butter $6.99/737gram or RCSS $8.99/340gram. Just wanted to post the price difference for the exact same product "MaraNatha natual almond butter" and the huge savings at Costco compared to RCSS.
Basically you get over twice as much product at Costco for $6.99. The equivalent amount purchased at RCSS would cost more then $17.98. This is a crazy difference in savings.

The roasted almond butter is a great price at Costco, but we often buy the natural almond butter, and Costco doesn't have that.

I bought the Mara Natha stuff several times. It tends to separate a little bit so last bottom 2 cm of the jar is difficult to use.
Great, tasty stuff. Very yummy.
If you keep an eye open, this will go on sale for a $2 discount at Costco every few months.

How's it taste? I assume you're using it as a substitute for peanut butter?

It tastes like roasted almonds in the same way that peanut butter tastes like roasted peanuts. Very toasty and delicious IMO. Then again, I never really liked peanut butter.

LOL, that's too bad, I'm not a huge Almond fan either
But seriously though, I don't find PB to actually taste like roasted peanuts (not the stuff the comes out of a tin of Planter's anyways).

Not sure what you mean by "natural" and that Costco doesn't have that? The Costco Almond butter is "Natural Roasted Almond Butter". Are you meaning that you like non roasted then?

Yeah we use it to substitute for peanut butter. I personally like it more, but everyone has different tastes.

Sorry, yes, I meant to say 'raw' almond butter. Unroasted. I like both, my wife prefers the raw. Often we make our own raw almond butter with Costco raw almonds and our food processor.

It bothers me that when I ask "is this approved" and people quote saying "Yes USDA" and when I say "but this is Canada" I get a blank stare...even suppliers we use do this....
Anyway, THANKS OP....love this stuff!!!!
