[Costco] Apply for a Costco Mastercard Get $10 credit [Mar 25 - Apr 7]

Image

¹ To receive your $10 statement credit, your credit application must be submitted in a Canadian Costco Wholesale warehouse or online starting March 25 until April 7, 2019 and, after your credit application is approved, $50 worth of qualifying purchases (net returns) must post to your account by April 30, 2019. The $10 statement credit will appear on your account by June 30, 2019. Your account must be open and in good standing for your statement credit to be applied.

² Cash back is applied to total net purchases. That means any purchase that’s charged to your credit card minus credits or returns. Cash advances, balance transfers, fees and interest charges aren’t eligible for cash back. The categorization of a purchase as a restaurant, gas station or other purchase is determined by the category code selected by the merchant. Capital One is not responsible for the category code a merchant uses or for any category code errors by merchants.

³ 0.5% on the first $3,000 you spend annually on all other purchases, and 1% after that.

Credit is extended by Capital One Bank (Canada Branch).

I did this and accidentally bought a 3 pack of grand pianos at Costco.

10/10 would buy again.

For anyone who has this card, do you still need to pay for a costco membership, or does that’s card just act as a proxy for a costco membership when you are cashing out?

Costco will charge the membership fee from the card automatically

What is the reward rate for Costco? Do you get more besides the executive membership?

Exactly, what a cheap deal.
Check TD, Scotia and RBC's credit card offer.

I'm an executive members without a Costco credit card. I get 2% back on my purchases iirc. Will the 2% rebate from my membership get deducted from my credit card balance?

Once a year Costco will send you a cheque for the 2% rewards which you can use to make in-store purchases (I haven't tried online purchases, so cannot comment on that). If the purchase amount is less than the cheque amount, they'll refund the difference in cash.

The credit card and executive membership rebate are 2 different things, one managed by Costco and the other by Capital One.

I think its from how much costco and their staff push this card
