[Costco] Bestar U-Desk Workstation $369.99

Saw this desk workstation in Costco in Richmond Hill the other day. Compared online and a similar set at Staples and Cymax for ~$1000

Good to know. Must have missed it previously.

Edit: Looks like regular price is more like $500+ at Costco. Must be marked down somewhat at this price.

I don't think so, this is super cheap especially for the full 'U' with the drawers and hutch. This is a massive desk, I bought a similar model from Costco for $700 and it was a great deal. These aren't those crappy thin walmart desks, they're thick board with proper melamine tops and beveled edges. The full package weighs between 300-400lbs.

This is super cheap. I owned one from Costco for 10 years and even then it was twice the price. Super deal if you can pick one up.

thank you for the post, it was discounted to 279 last year, too bad I didn't have that space for it.

I bet Costco probably discounts it further as we move into Fall/Winter. Doubt many people buy office desks at that time, but they likely then get a re-supply in the late Winter/Spring for the spring cleaning/renovation season when people are more likely to make big furniture updates to their home.

I didn't pull the trigger on this since I'm find with the desks I have for my office, but I think this is a really smoking hot deal.

This has been costco regular price since at least July of last year when I bought mine. Good desk, and the table doesn't have to be attached so you can have an "L" desk as well as a small table. It's solid and heavy, but scratches easily (thin veneer over pressboard). Also the built in power plugs only have 2100mA max. There's nothing even close to competitive for the price.

Online you can buy the matching file cabinet, bookshelf and a half file/cabinet charging station, but they haven't changed price in a year (and are around $150-$200 each delivered).

Spotted this desk at ancaster for $269.99 last week - not sure if it's still on sale or not but Burlington was regular price at the same time.

Do you know if the table top is solid wood or something like IKEA particle board. I was wondering if its strong enough to use a clamp style multi monitor mount. Thanks.

It's all particle board. OP, it sounds like you just discovered Costco. Smiling Face With Open Mouth I pass this desk almost every I am there. It has been at this price +/-$20 for the past 10 years (except very infrequent sales). When the dollar dove I thought it will increase in price but it didn't. Also, it's design gradually changed but only slightly.

Definitely particle board I have the desk. I have a triple mount and it mounts just fine onto the desk that is separate from the hutch. The separate part of the desk has a much thicker worktop.
