[Costco] Costco: big tent by Coleman. $150 8 person

I've been looking for a big tent...
this seems to be the best deal around. Not much reviews online...but seems decent
Costco membership needed :)

BTW> There is another 8 person tent on sale for the same price in the store. It's called the Coleman Henley. But the one online seems a bit better...

My last Coleman tent lasted me 15 years so I bought another one last year at Costco, looks identical. Really disappointed to see their quality has gone downhill, but for $150 if you get a couple of years out of it maybe it's ok.

I saw that last night on sale (guess it ended yesterday). I couldn't find any information on Outbound so I didn't want to consider it. I looked up the woods tents at Can Tire and they seem ok, but again not much in terms of external reviews. I am picking between the warehouse tent (also available online) (http://www.colemancanada.ca/product/hen ... Yhc6flVhBc) for $189 and the online tent (http://www.colemancanada.ca/product/bri ... Yhc5PlVhBc). I decided to get the Henley fastpitch and hope it comes on sale like it did the east coast.

Considerations
1) Brand name (Both Coleman, good for Car Camping)
2) Reviews (both are good)
3) Setup time (Fastpitch)
4) Design age (Henley is newer and with fastpitch)
5) Function (Henley has more ventilation, and I think the floor plan is a bit better)
6) Style (Bristol is slightly nicer in terms of look for me)

Lastly, I eliminated CT tents because of Costco return policy. I never like or want to use it, but having it there can cure any buyers remorse I may have in the future.

I don't mind paying $39 more for what I want... since it hopefully will be with me for a decade as the kids grow up.

Good luck! Thanks to OP, very compelling and nice tent. For people considering, this is a good review I found: http://hikemo.blogspot.ca/2013/05/revie ... eened.html

I've had a few Outbound products, no issues in the past. Coleman stuff is really hit or miss nowadays... But if you're just car tenting or whatever, It would probably be fine.
