Waited too long, Costco.ca no longer has it listed in the site, may be out of stock?

I'm guessing temporarily out of stock, maybe they'll restock in the next 7 days while it's still on sale.

Greely
Had company over for dinner last night. Used the Blendtec recipe book and made:

Baba Ganoush
Raspberry Vinaigrette for salad
Butternut squash soup
Lemon bars
Strawberry ice cream

All made with the blender. All delicious! The ice cream was especially impressive.

Is there a need for both the Wildside jar and the fourside jar? I was thinking if I should just sell my fourside jar and use wildside jar for everything.

The only time I can see owning two jars an advantage is if you're hosting parties and make several dishes/drinks in parallel using the blender. It saves having to wash up one container each time to switch recipes. Or you don't have to wait until people are finished pouring the margarita in container #1 before whipping up a daiquiri in container #2. You can make both and give people drink options.

IMO, the 4 side jar is better for smaller volumes. The bigger 4" blade on the wildside jar has greater tendencies to create air pockets (blade spins but nothing blends due to air pocket created above the blade). However, wildside is better on larger volumes. The other reasoning to keep both jars is they are the weakest link on the blender. There have been some complaints jars only last about a year or two. However, this is a non issue with an 8 yr warranty but it is nice to have a spare in case you have to send one in for repairs.

If only going with one, it's a no brainer, the Wildside wins every time with the 4 inch blade.
