Excuse my ignorance but what's the point of spending $4/chip when this deal is perfectly decent enough to play amongst friends. Unless you're running an illegal basement casino why would it matter the quality of the chips if they are ultimately a temporary alternative to cash for the purpose of playing. The chips have no real value outside the game.
I have over 2000 Paulson clay chips....cost about $1.50 per back in the day. There is no comparison to using ABS chips. I love them, and the people that come to my game appreciate it and not a game goes by that people don't rave about my setup.

The nice thing is if I ever did sell them I'd make a mint, but I don't foresee selling them any time soon, if ever.

These are definitely excellent value!

I personally just bought a set earlier by ClaySmith Gaming, but the price per piece here can't be beat! I paid almost 50 cents each for mine :/

The RFD method to getting casino quality chips, is just use Casino chips.

On your next trip to vegas get $1 chips from a few different casinos (different colors). Print out new labels for chip values when you get home. $300 upfront outlay, but you can always get your money back on your next visit.

The OP's set is a good deal though.

Can't tell if you're being serious. Not sure if this is brilliant or crazy!

I actually did it a decade ago when NLTH became popular. I had a bunch of $1 and $5 chips from Vegas casinos from trips that I never cashed in over the years.

Once the fad faded and didn’t end up playing at home anymore, cashed in the chips and nothing was lost. Back then clay chip sets were hundreds of dollars.

Damn it was $35 at Dufferin location but ended up finding a 500 chip set on Kijiji used for $35. For $20 this is a really really good deal

Just wanted to let everyone know the case is mostly cardboard. There are only small parts of the border frame that is aluminum.
