I think the upcharges are too much for the Cineplex packages especially if you want to upgrade to VIP. Personally I find the landmark packages to be better value. Popcorn maybe not as big but each person gets their own.

Is this in the GTA?

Also is this taxed? Or treated like a gift card?

Concessions are too expensive. Almost 20 bucks for a popcorn, pop, and a small candy wtf. You can have a full dinner with that.

Do we have to use all included items (2 tickets, 2 drinks and 1 popcorn) together/at the same time or can we use individual items on separate occasion?

I just used my ticket, it was $7 extra per Adult and $4 extra per child for Toy Story 4 Imax. AVX is a little less, and VIP I believe is a little more (and kids are not included). Realistically the deal at Costco just gets you the concession items for free. It really isnt a great deal. The way I look at it is that I go out to a movie maybe a couple times a year, and when I do we go out for dinner, get concessions, to the nine. So I paid roughly $29.99 for the Adult deal, $11.99 for the child deal and paid another $18.00 in upgrades to Imax. That is roughly $63.00 (after tax) for two adult imax tickets, 1 child imax ticket 2 regular drinks, 1 regular popcorn and 1 kids combo. Normally it would be $20.99 per adult and $15 per child plus the concessions (before tax). Again, really the whole deal just nets you some free popcorn and drinks.

Went to the Costco on Overlea in Toronto yesterday. I bought one, but it was at regular price at $30.00.

It is in fact, 2 coupons. One for the admission and the other for the concession stand. You don't have to use both at the same time. Don't forget to use your scene card at concession too !

Best deal: don't go to Cineplex.

Landmark is miles better, few locations but a no frills, cozy, 2D reserved, plush couch experience.

Tuesdays are $7 too. My family hates going to Cineplex instead of Landmark now.
