Hi there,

I do have one question, does Costco glasses are pretty good? I need a new pair of glasses. Also, never buy from New Look again. Good promotion, bad product and after services...

Ju Leon...
yes they are. The only issue is that there is much less choice, but if you find something you like go for it, and it's Costco after all... excellent after sale service

FWIW, the Harvest Creek chicken on sale is awful. I used to buy it all the time, but then we started to buy the individually packaged chicken breasts from Costco, and the quality is night and day. Of course, for roughly the same price, you get 1kg less in the individually frozen chicken bag, but it doesn't shrink, it's not rubbery, and I've yet to find bones in it (unlike Harvest Creek, which in the past happened twice). But if you currently buy Harvest Creek, then don't switch and you won't be disappointed!

Hi. Its probably been asked a million times already but can I expect some of these deals to be in Saint-Hubert and maybe Boucherville stores as well?

Yes except the $xx.97 sale where the local Costco may not be in synch.

I find it works well with clothes where one store marks down the $xx.97 item and quickly run out of sizes (most likely have the XXL size only) whereas other stores have not yet marked down but have all sizes still. This gives the opportunity to buy the right size at store A, buy the wrong size at store B and use the highest receipt to return the wrong size cloth.

Hi there,

Montreal Gas Price (as of July 09, 2018)...

Regular: 130.5 (Bridge), 130.8 (Brossard)
Super: 143.8

No warning yet, but most likely gonna go up by tomorrow (Tuesday)...

Ju Leon...
I find the line-up for gas at Costco monday afternoon and night nightmarish, and useless. You line up for 10-20 minutes, you burn gas that you want to save, you pollute and you waste your time. No regard to CO2 and global warming...

It is best to fill up at 7am on mondays in the morning or even tuesdays as Costco does not jack up its prices the day after... No stress, disregard the hike, fill up in the morning before opening, no line up, even the day after.

OP: price hike warning implies the need to rush to fill up. I would strongly advise against it as people will line up and pollute (nobody seem to turn off their engine - in fact in Brossard it is illegal to leave the engine idle but nobody seem to care). I would recommend you add the line to recommend people to fill up in the morning.

Hi there,

The gas alert is meant for telling people if you need gas, go fill if needed. Costco lineups are the worst, but problem is, it's mostly the inefficient how people gas up.

I did a debate on it before on people gassing up at Costco and I find too many inefficiency.

Some people dont get ready and fiddle around looking for their cards to pay. Some don't seem to know what they are doing at all.

Others pumping the wrong side, even though the hose can reach the other end. It take alot more effort to pump. Also, it block the center lane as people have to be careful going around people pumping as they pull the hose.

Others just simply take their sweet time in general. I remember a lady with a nice expensive car. While the line up was piling up, she takes her sweet time, gas up, then get back in the car then proceed to wait and talk and fiddle around in their car rather then drive and move out for the next. The attendee actually have to tell her to move forward. Seriously...

It took me 5 minutes for me to pump gas to full tank and out.

Ju Leon...
