These are pretty basic life jackets. More like PFD because they don't neck floater addition.

These only have three straps and feel like foam. They aren't the neoprene ones that go for $60 each or so. The best I can find on the net is this picture:

I have set and they are ok.

We usually grab new PFD basic jackets every few years to throw in our boats to keep them legal,
Never actually wear them in the boat itself.

Thanks for the post!

Rented a canoe and lifejackets were provided, but smelly and damp, so I snatched this up at Costco earlier this summer to use next for time and it was around $55 I think. Pretty basic, but around $15 each! Fine for adults, but doesn't have the back neck thing, as mentioned, and colours are pretty muted compared to the usual bright orange/red. Fine for very casual water activities or fishing on a boat, but I would imagine anything that requires a lot of movement would be much more comfortable in those slick $50+ jackets. It's funny: the bag it comes in has a big label telling you how to open the bag's zipper in an emergency, as if they assume no one will actually wear it normally and just have on hand it for emergencies...

$10 per life jacket is a great price, since they normally retail for $20.

Good way to keep your vessel legal, since ripped or otherwise damaged lifejackets don't count if the police decide to inspect.

Saw this earlier at the Queensway/Etobicoke location but it was selling for $60.

It's a basic one without the neck support that would keep your head afloat ( don't know the proper name for it)

Costco usually has these every year for around the same price. like others have said though, they are big. Ok for full sized adults but way too big for kids.
