Costco - Freemotion 730 Treadmill down $100 to $799.00
Just back from the Halifax Costco and the Freemotion 730 Treadmill has dropped $100 to $799.99. The sign did not indicate that this was a reduced price but rather a new regular price.

I thought these were on clearance for $599 in March of this year? Would Costco restock an item they were previously clearing out?

When they were dropped to $599.99 it was a price reduction, not a clearance. I missed that drop last time. There was one location that dropped it to $479.88 but I think that was a local Manager's special. I am still waiting for another drop to $599. My local Costco has nine in stock at the moment taking up three display slots in the racks. This is valuable space in the retail world. The seasonal manager was surprised that they were not gone by now. So I keep checking every couple of days. At $599, its a hot deal since this model comes with the iFit wireless module while most companies make it optional at $100 to $150. ( www.ifit.com )

My husband wants to get a treadmill but we will need to find a company that delivers. Will Costco delivery their treadmill if I buy one from them? Any fees for delivery?

Costco's brick and mortar stores do not delivery. However, if you check at the service counter of your local store, there is usually a stack of business cards of local companies (man with a van type) that will meet with you and delivery large items for a fee.
Costco.com does delivery and it is usually free.

Yea. I've checked their online store already and the treadmills there seemed to be more expensive then those in store. I probably will just wait for an online sale in the future. Transporting an item this big is a hassle. Thanks!

Don't quote me on this but the last time I was going to buy a treadmill from Costco in Ottawa they said that they did do delivery but only to the front door or maybe inside the front door but not down to the basement or anything like that. I believe the fee was around $100. Knowing the size and weight of these treadmills be prepared to have 3-4 guys help bringing it down to the basement if necessary.

I've got my eye on this one. Any ideas if it will be on sale again soon?

They are typically on sale end March / early April. However. This model has been around for a couple of years now and will likely get replaced come spring. Treadmills are like cars, every year a new model.

How does this compare to some of the LiveStrong stuff Canadian Tire is clearing out? Are there any LiveStrong comparable models?
Thanks for any feedback.

This is a very good treadmill for the price. Just have a look at the specs on it. Some of the Livestrong units are good, but you will not beat this one for the price.
