I bought one of these on sale a while back at Costco and love it. It was easy to install and has outstanding suction.
I created a couple videos on this and would definitely recommend it.

I have this unit as well, the suction is very good and the noise is very acceptable.

I also have this installed in my new place. Got it at same sale price last year. Suction is not as good as my Dyson but the noise is obviously lower (as it's located in the garage). This is my first central vac, so I have nothing to compare to. However, I'm overall satisfied.

I've seen the Husky Solstice going for $479.99 with garage kit and 3 bags instore. No powered brush head though.
I'm looking for replacement for Hoover Hush Series, anyone know if Hoover plates / plumbing work with Husky?
Are Husky replacement parts easy to find? IE. New wheels, brush for power brush head, filter bags etc.
Thanks!

I bought a Canavac at the end of last year for a couple hundred more. It has a tangential motor which is supposedly more reliable. It has great suction and works much better than any Dyson I've tried from Costco. The thing I like best about central vcacuums is that you're not breathing in the exhaust or having the exhaust disturb the area and making dust airborne.

I did. Was delivered on Friday, I haven't gotten a chance to install it yet. Hoping to get to that tomorrow (Tuesday). Will update once I do.

If you have carpets or dogs than this is the way to go. I give away my dyson if it meant I could go back to a capable central vac setup again!
