[Costco] Costco - Karcher 3000 PSI Pressure Washer w/ Honda Engine $299.97

Last night visited Yorkdale Costco and they have Karcher 3000 PSI Pressure Washer w/ Honda Engine for $299.97 on clearance. I think it was $399.99 earlier.
I bought one as was waiting for the clearance.
Any comments on the price and quality are appreciated.
It looks like this one:

Just wondering if these gas pressure washers are ok to wash your car? I don't want to strip or damage my car finish. I've had 3 electric ones ranging from Karcher to Simoniz?(fr CT) and they have all died. Want to try a gas one next but mostly want to wash my cars with them.

They are great to wash anything with but be careful you can adjust them to the required pressure for the job, I have seen a few people use too much pressure and cause damage on paint jobs or deck finishes.

For folks who have experience on either Karcher or Ridgid, what are your likes and dislikes?

Thanks! that is even better model! I will stop by after work, hopefully it's still there.. but I dont think there is that big of a market for "Prosumer" grade pressure washer.. which is good for me :)

Are these Karcher also using Axial Cam Pump? Same as Ridgid?

I had 3 karcher power washers over the past 5 years, my morbidly obese wife broke all 3. I strongly recommend you not purchase a karcher power washer as they are poorly made.

Yeah, the 'lectric ones are full of cheap plastic parts but the gas models are far better made.

If you look online, the Rigid has a number of poor reviews due to the pump. I saw the 3000PSI rigid on sale a few weeks ago at HD and after reading the reviews decided not to buy.

The 3300PSI Rigid is a whole other story - great reviews.
