Costco Kirkland AA batteries

In the past, I have been buying the Kirkland Signature Alkaline 48 pack AA Batteries for $15 which is about half the price of the equivalent Duracell batteries. However, these Kirkland batteries leak like crazy at the end of their lives.

Are there other reasonably priced batteries that do not leak?

Many thanks for all advice.

rechargeable have never leaked for me. And most/all alkaline batteries i know leak. You just need to remember to not keep them in forever. Mine usually only leak if I leave them in and not use the device for a long period of time. So if that is your issue as well, just remember to remove the batteries if you are not using the device for a long period of time. Or get rechargeable...

Comparison reviews say that the Kirkland alkaline AA batteries have better capacity than most, but all alkaline batteries are a bit more likely to leak than other battery types.

Rechargeable NiMH batteries can and do leak though - I've seen it lots of times, different brands, most commonly the Duracell ones.
