[Costco] Costco Kirkland Merino Wool socks 4/pr $11.99 (lesser quality)

Just saw these in my local costco and picked up a 4pk for $11.99. When I got home I compared with a pack I had left over from last year - this year they aren't as heavy..
Last years 4pk weight 336 grams, this 4pk weight 305 grams.
Not as good as last year but still an okay deal.

Men's only, or do they carry these for the fairer sex too?

Wool socks are wool socks...
There are 2 sizes however, so it's unisex

But yes, they seems to be of lesser quality, even the ones from last season.

I own a couple of pairs for 2 years ago and none of them have fuzz, however, the ones my GF got last season are all fuzzed up, not sure if it's the way she wears them that makes a difference...

I always buy the medium, package shows:
Fits Men's shoe size 6-9
Fits Ladies' shoe size 4-9

Love these socks. Sucks to hear that they're going down in quality. Should've stocked up more last year...

I saw them today. They were labelled different from the ones I bought last winter. I assumed these were the "fall socks" while the ones I bought last year were the "winter socks". The wording was different as well (even if I don't recall what the difference is...)...something like these being Merino blend hiking...versus Merino wool socks last year. I'm sure they're still good socks, but just not as warm as the ones from last winter. I found they were very comfy and warm without being too warm. Good tension.

I have been waiting for lighter weight wool socks from costco. I wear merino socks year round and I love them. I have lighter weight for the summer season, but they are fantastic.

That said, these winter weight are awesome, you can easily to -20/30oC with these.

I can't see a season on the packaging..I do see a different fibre content on the new pack...

Both packages show "Kirkland Signature Outdoor Trail Sock Merino Wool Blend"

Content for last year pack 71% Merino Wool, 21% Nylon, 7% Polyester, 1% Spandex
This years pack 70% Merino Wool, 18% Nylon, 10% Polyester, 2% Spandex

Anyone a fan of the Bass Pro Shop merino wool socks? $14.99 a pair with a lifetime guarantee.

Haven't tried the Bass Pro Shop ones, but Costco's are cheaper AND comes in a 4 pack, and their warranty is pretty much lifetime as well.
