Correct me if I'm wrong but for the last sale on these I believe the final price was $11.99. Oh well, will still buy a couple cases. This takes care of pop craving and is healthy for you.

Does anyone know the nutrition profile of these, or the sugar content?

Healthier than pop, sure - but most mass-produced kombuchas have so much added sugar to offset the "vinegar-y" taste, that they're not really a healthy drink.

If you're looking for the digestion & gut benefits, take a shot of apple cider vinegar in the morning for the same effect.

I think this has 4g of sugar or something per serving? Does apple cider vinegar have similar taste? I actually like the taste of kombucha.

That's for the 240 mL bottle, so multiply by 2 for the 480 mL bottle

6g according to this. (1 & 1/2 tsp) compared to soda that's nothing. I would way rather drink Kombucha than ACV, though it does have an ACV flavour to it.

That's for the original. I think Costco, or atleast the Costco I go to, only has gingerade, which has 6g.

If you consider 5 grams "so much added sugar" per serving.

This stuff costs about 3 cents per litre at home to make... it baffles me how much people pay for it from the store!

How do you make it in the winter without paying a fortune in heat?

I use tap water, doesn't cost me anything.
Well I do have to pay for my water supply, but I have to pay for that anyway whether i use it for drinking water or not. So it is effectively free to drink.

I have had this kombucha, it is absolutely disgusting as far as my taste buds go.

You are not cooking the stuff (other than brewing the initial tea). It just sits at room temp. It might ferment slightly slower if your room is cooler

I've never had a problem with room temperature... but you can get a heat belt from a homebrew shop for $30 if you want to bring the temp up a bit.

If this one is actually 5-6 grams then it's a great option. I said "most" and wasn't specifically referring to this brand as I didn't know the nutrition info on it. Other popular brands (eg - RISE) have 18-20 grams of added sugar in the same ~500 ML serving size. (Example)
