would you happen to have an Item number? I would like to call around the GTA to see if they have stock as well.

The packaging says iPhone compatible. Wonder if these will allow for fast charging on the iPhone or if they only do the “regular” slower charge?

iPhones support up to 7.5W, so as long as the charger is that amount it should work.

Here's the strange thing about this. 'Tzumi PocketCharge 10w' does not exist as a product. It doesn't exist on amazon.com / amazon.ca / Staples (us/ca) / BestBuy (us/ca). It doesn't exist on tzumi.com either.

However, 'Tzumi HyperCharge 10w' does exist, and appears to be identical, both in included accessories and the size / shape of the wireless base.

It's not surprising that Costco would take this product and rebrand it - they're known for doing this with older product.

Since this isn't MFi, this charger will not charge the iPhone 8/+/X at 7.5W - it'll only do 5W.

If you're a 8/+/X owner, check here for the differences between 5W and 7W charging. Starting at 0%, at 60 minutes the 5W charger was at 39%, and the 7.5W charger was at 46%. That's only a difference of 7% over an hour, or a 1% increase for the 7.5W roughly every 10 minutes. Overnight that's nothing, and plopping this down at work it won't be noticeable.

This said, this is still a great deal for 2x 10W wireless chargers, and even if you don't use the wireless charger, the included QC 3.0 wall chargers is a savings on its own.

That’s what I was thinking. Thanks for confirming.

Thanks for doing this research. So there basically is no point getting this for our iPhone X and iPhone 8 since it won’t support 7.5W charging- only Apple approved chargers will charge at 7.5W ....

a brand name 7.5w will cost you $50 though...this is tempting for me for my 8plus

updated item#
I called a location in the Mississauga (GTA), and they told me that it's a new item and that it's on order. Costco should start to receive stock in the GTA in the next few weeks.
