[Costco] Powered Standing Desk $250/$350

This seems like a really good deal for what looked and felt like a high quality power standing desk.

Seen this in store it’s nice ..

However I went with prime cables electric base and mounted any ikea top on it and proly saves 50 percent the cost of this table..

Sit stands don’t have to cost an arm and leg !

Where you see the deal? Everything on there is pretty expensive.

It used to be 400. They dropped it. They have this in saskatoon. They also have a nice looking writing desk they dropped from 200 to 150.

Source : wander around Costco daily on my lunch break.

I just got a standing desk at work and love it. I’ve been standing most of the day now.

This used to be $450 at Costco. I've been using this for a month. Great desk and great price!

Is the glass susceptible to fingerprints? Seems like a lot of smudging possible, so passed on this when I saw it at my local costco. Any insight would be great.

I bought just the mechanism for $150. Top from IKEA for $30 or $40. <$200 for the whole thing from PrimeCables + IKEA.

Just remember to use it properly

Reading the article didn’t really give me any new imperium about the standing desk. I believe that the benefit of having an adjustable standing desk is that you can reposition yourself when you’re feeling uncomfortable, no matter which office environment.

I totally agree that you shouldn’t replace a sitting desk with a non adjustable standing desk.

Anecdotally I sit in the office in a static position most of the day working in front of the computer, but need to walk around a few times (getting material, making coffee, etc). I had to make a make-shift standing desk for a couple of days because of my lower back pain which I believe was due to sitting in an office chair al day.

Got a picture it two of your setup? Would love your guidance on what parts you bought as I'm interested in a DIY desk for work.

Its a great desk and looks nice. The only thing I didn't like is the controls are built right on to the glass so changing the top in the future won't be possible.

Does anyone have experience with accidentally hitting the buttons? It is on the right side, which is the area most people use the mouse and writes.

There's a lock button on the right-side which disables all touch function.

I have the white version of this, without the curved glass. Love it, quality is excellent. Only complaint is the lock button gets hit by accident a lot.
