Just picked up a couple of Samsung BD-D5100 Blu-ray Player $29.97 at Costco in Halifax. Was looking for the clearance model Sony BDP-S380 and found this instead. I also picked up a couple of the Sonys incase the Samsung is a dud.

maybe a techy can enlighten me on this but which is better
the SEIKI (hot cake, everyone got one)
or this samsung for $30?
i dont mind buying this for family if it plays everything and just as good as the seiki

Got wifey to pick one up in Fredericton, the cheapest one they had was the BD-D5490. She said it was $50, is this still a good deal?
