[Costco] Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Black Onyx $839 ($150 off)

http://www.costco.ca/Samsung-Galaxy-S7- ... 84242.html

The phone is $150 off right now at Costco.. I almost pulled the trigger last night before the $100 off sale ended, not knowing today it would be $150 off.

Anyone know if it is possible to stack any promotions on top of this in-store?

Bring an old phone to Sherway Garden and get $200 off $900+tax for the S7 Edge. Better deal before end of September.

it's valid at participating carriers too, but most of the carriers i've seen sell the phones for more than the msrp @ samsung experience stores so it's pretty much ymmv at that point.

Isn't it $999 for the edge at Sherway Gardens and $899 for the regular s7

Tempting deal. I'm gonna hold off still as I'm expecting further price drops in short term. Either that or I'll wait for another Costco/Bell promo where you can buy on a new plan and then cancel for around $600 out of pocket.

I am curious about this, if it works out to only being 40 bucks cheaper than Costco while having to trade in a ln old phone, I'm not sure it's worth the drive and chaos.

Just called a few times and finally got someone at Samsung Experience Sherway and they did confirm it was 900 for the edge.

Does Costco do the $200 trade-in of old phone as well? So basically, $640 after trade-in.
My friend got his S7 from Best Buy and they took his old phone for $200 trade-in value. If I get it from Best Buy, does anyone know if they will price match the Costco hardware and still take your old phone for $200 trade-in value?

Getting it at 600 is good deal. How is 839 a deal when you can trade in old phone, plus get 128sd card and get gear vr. Only pay 899 during launch?

Makes no sense to pay over 800 for this phone.

The best deal was a last weekend at Costco.

Sign up with bell.
350 for phone.
350 cash back in Costco gift cards which you can use right away on the phone.
200 gift card for trade in. (but you didn't have to give a phone).

Call bell right away to cancel. 622 fee.

So total 450 ish for an unlocked s7 edge.

You also get a soft credit hit for applying for a line.

Costco phone are unlocked at first but lock to the first Sim card put in.

Mine is locked to wind now.

What's the justification for spending that much on a phone? I don't understand the reasoning

It was posted in the s7 best buy thread...
It was actually available 3 weeks ago too..
I'm posting because I wouldn't be surprised if it came back again. People shouldn't think $800/900 is a hot deal.

Of note, all smartphones on Costco's website state 2nd year warranty, including the S7 and S7 Edge.
