Yup, spindle says Made in Taiwan.
also, burnt fine @ 8x w/ my Liteon 832S (my -R spindles & discs all say 8x btw).
did a KPROBE on the burnt disc, got decent results, esp for an 8x burn.

Costco in South Edmonton had 4x dvd+rs ricohjpn r01s. Great find for 24 bucks.
