Just in case anyone's on the fence about these because of digestive issues, I've eaten 5 or 6 without any problems so YMMV. I hope they end up discounting them instead of pulling them so I can pick up a few more boxes for cheap.

Same here. If they discount them I'll stock up on 5 or 6 boxes.

Ditto. I’ve had no problem with these new bars. So glad they’re finally back! Was fed up of the PureProtein bars.

What's wrong with the pure protein ones?

Yeah guys.... these bars are funky. I can only have two before my butt turns into a popcorn popper.
Gas can be caused by eating too much protein fyi. Eating too many of any protein bar will likely cause bloating.

Also the fibre content. All 3 make for a deadly combination.

I realize folks don't like to hear this (keto broscience), but when there are virtually no carbs in the GI, there's virtually no gas production.

I live a life with nearly zero gas. It's a beautiful thing.

God bless.

For those curious - I was a HUGE fan of these bars when they had the original packaging (feels like over a year ago now).

I read through the comments on this forum, and was disappointed from the reviews. However, I figured that I ought to still give them a try. I've been eating them for 3-4 days now and can say that I havn't had any issues.

I am a protein bar junkie (I've truly tried and continue trying them all). I would say that the CCCD flavor is probably one of the best bars that I have ever had. I actually love the consistency (it's very soft - like cookie dough). I also think the brownie flavor has improved since the original release.

The latest huge meta-analysis, n over 400,000, shows higher mortality with low carb diets, very similar in fact to the high carb diets that are demonized. 50-55% carbs is ideal for health.

Bro-science is not science. You are setting yourself up to die early (unless your protein and fats come largely from plants instead of meat)

Or take it as a wake up call

Do people who eat these bars, do you consume them on your off gym days too and sometimes for meal replacement or before/after gym?

Just trying to find the optimum time to consume these as I usually don't eat proteinbars during off gym days.

if you're going to speak all factual, at least research all sides of the story...
