[Costco] Transformer multi-functional table, Walnut - $1299

Been looking for an extendable table.... This looks interesting.
https://www.costco.ca/transformer-table ... 08772.html

Some of the reviews are not favourable but costco might be a good hedge/

Montreal based company that was on dragon's den apparently.

On their website they give a free table with their dining table

Same here. I thought I’d have the opportunity of eating on Optimus Prime’s legs or something.

It's a handy table. I would considerate if I didn't have a regular table already.

I know right! A transforming table (expanding) as a title would have kept me from typing this ;)

lol.. I'm not going to lie. I felt a bit disappointed. I came in here to see what an Autobot table looks like since the Decepticon table is OOS.

On a side note, that looks like a pretty nice table.

EDIT: 97 people in this thread looking for a Transformers table.

Just started to look into long term furniture; does this come with the bench and do these kind of massive wooden tables usually last well?

Cheers!

The bench is extra, i'm not confident about the quality but i guess costco lifetime warranty will cover it (it covers furniture right?)

A damn. If they had the grey table, I would bite.

I’ve been looking at the transformer table for a little while now. I don’t think it would be great for a main dining table, but for the basement where you usually have your kids running around in circles and a table would get in the way, the transformer table looks to be a perfect solution for when you want to have adults sit down and socialize too.

I guess the price in the title would have helped me figure out this was a decepticon post and not an Optimus Prime deal, lol.

This looks great. I already have a (much cheaper) Ikea transforming table that only seats 6 (barely) and it's very useful. I could see buying this if I had more space, it at least looks like a much higher quality product.

I actually think this is a brilliant idea, but strange that Costco doesn't sell the "full" dining set with two benches, nor do they offer the bench separately. It's actually cheaper to buy direct from ca.transformertable.com if you plan on getting the full set with coffee table, since they're giving the coffee table away for free with purchase.

Really? Where? I think this price point is actually quite good since it's all hardwood and it's functionality (6-in-1) is king (if that's what you need your table to do of course).
