Based on other Costco promotions (and pretty much standard mobile phone promo), the card is applied after tax. Making it basically $200 * tax - $150 now and $200 + tax later (or if you're in a 1.12 area, 298 after tax).

Last week they told me that the in store credit card from costco was 75$ not 150$, are you sure ? or it is because i wanted the Galaxy S3 ?

With Virgin, You cant get away with out paying first month. I recently had the experience and had to return since they were not accepting the out right cancel and monthly charges were around 62. It could be less though

this is available at all Glentel stores so T-booth, Wireless etc (costco), and wireless wave. so you can do the minimum $20 plan. cancel next day. you end up paying 399.99 + 20 + tax - $150. so roughly about $300bux for a brand new s2 outright

The cheapest plan is $20/month so i guess you got the most expensive plan (no idea on their plans/haven't even paid attention to most plans since i don't pay for my plan).

Usually for the GC, you have to go on tab and go post pay for which plans are expensive
