[Costco] Vizio M65-F0 - 65" 4K TV - $1199.99

On sale at Costco online for the next 2 weeks. Seems like a solid deal for a 65", M series. Don't remember seeing it this low in the past. It's $999usd all over the US websites (Best Buy, Walmart, Target), so even after conversion, this Costco price is lower.

Decent rating at Rtings (7.8) - https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/vizio/m-series-2018

Wonder what the in store price is - I think this was the same price as last year's model on Black Friday.

For those wondering because of similar price:
M65 vs TCL R617:

M65 has better sound quality.
M65 has slightly better viewing angles though both are VA panels.
M65 may have slightly less panel uniformity issues.

R617 has higher peak brightness for HDR.
R617 has more local dimming zones.
R617 has better upscaling for SD and 720p content.
R617 has better Roku interface.
R617 has slightly better color volume.

Both have similar input lag, motion performance.

Looks like the P series is a better choice for the price?

I seriously doubt the P-Series 65" Vizio will hit $1199 for Boxing Day.

If folks believe otherwise, I'm open to be convinced.
I aim to be inclusive and considerate of others in my posts. If I fall short of that mark, feel free to let me know in good faith, and where appropriate, I'll edit my posts. Thank you.

Where can we buy P65s now that it appears Costco isn't selling them? Would prefer the 2018 model as well if possible.

Well, it is 500 more for little bit of a picture upgrade and 120hz, problem with the 120hz is it is not supported in 4k. All of my gaming and media viewing is now in 4k so it is useless for me.

What sort of super computer do you have running games at 4k 120hz?

I don't. This is a TV, so mostly used for Consoles and Media consumption, hense zero need for 120hz@1080p. Both my Xbox one X and PS4 pro run at 4k. Not going to down the res to 1080 for 120hz when framerates are not even close to that

Huh?
What im saying is the P series is 120hz but only in 1080p. For me, who games on a Xbox one X and PS4 Pro game in 4k the upgrade to the P series is useless as neither support 4k 120hz
If you do not have a 4k Capable Console then the P might be a better upgrade if you want 120hz

For me the P is more about the HDR real brightness vs the M series. You can find the 55" at Costco stores, but they carry like 1 at a time so they go quick. The 55" only has 56 dimming zones vs the 100 for the 65" so waiting until they carry the 65" is probably better. My big question is, are they actually going to keep to MSRP for the PQ65-f1 when and if they carry it. You can drive down to the US, pay duty and taxes, and pick up a PQ65-f1 for ~2300CAD vs the 3400+tax MSRP Vizio is trying to ask for it. If you already live close to the border and dont mind the hassle of the tax...it's a huge savings for a great screen(mind you lots of people are reporting a lot of issues with the P series which includes the PQ)
