Bought this for $1249.99 - $25(MasterPass) in mid november 2018 and it initially had some minor issues but were solved by simple cable swaps or via firmware updates over time.

Bad things I read about prior to purchasing and thought they wouldn't affect me but they slightly do:
Some dirty screen effect in brighter scenes (not the worst I've seen, probably somewhere in the middle)
Upscaling 720p contents are worse than more expensive sets (50% more expensive ones)
Halo effect from the FALD (can minimize this, but you're basically turning off the main advantage of this TV)

After 7 months of ownership, I would rate this TV a 8.5/10. But for $999, this would score a 10/10 for sure.

I would say a P65 is fairly equal to a TCL 6 series. The P65 is way better than the TCL 4 series for sure

No stock left in the Edmonton area.
Damn, I was going to go in tomorrow and get one. Did you happen to ask if they had the M65's that they have on for $899?

comparable to the 6 series which is $1200, this is overall still better though.

Check out a comparrison here.

I originally got the P65, but traded it in for the Sony X900F, as I was able to get it for $1500 and at the time it was worth the $200 upgrade.

Great TV.

I bought the 75" Version in Oct 2018.

TV has been rock solid...and with the extended warranty, Costco has your back.

PS4 Pro on this TV looks AMAZING!

I'm not sure how heavy this TV is...but consider wall mounting it if you have little ones.

My kids enjoy climbing things, so I wall mounted it so ensure there is no "tipping" risk.

My costco had m65 for 899$ and p65 for 999$. Qualified for $60 extended warranty since it was just under $1000
