[Costco] Vizio SB3630-E6 3.0 Soundbar with built-in Chromecast Audio $99.97

Costco.ca has the Vizio SB3630-E6 3.0 Soundbar with SmartCast (essentially a chromecast audio built-in) for only $99.97.

I think that this is the same soundbar from the 5.1 setup discussed here: https://forums.redflagdeals.com/costco- ... r-2152273/

I have the 5.1 setup and was considering getting one for the 2nd TV, primarily just to add the whole-house audio with the casting (these can be grouped with google homes, minis, other chromecast audios, etc. for multi-room audio), but this will do the trick for less than half the price.

Sound probably won't be as good without the sub, but still pretty good value, especially considering a chromecast audio retails for $45 on it's own.

Unfortunately, just missed the $20 off Masterpass deal :(

EDIT: After a little more research I decided to actually by another one of these just for music, but looks like it is now out of stock.

I bought a sound bar last year without a sub, and have regretted it ever since. I’m going to keep an eye out for a sound bar with a sub at around this price (+$50)
The included chrome cast is a pretty nice tough though.

How much is this regularly? Looking for a cheap one for outdoors, sub not required.

No subwoofer makes this a poor deal, imo.

A sub improves sound sooo much. Me and the wife literally cannot stand watching anything now without the stereo on with a sub. It sounds...odd...with no sub.

There's apparently a sub out port to add an external sub according to bestbuy.com q/a

I have the older version of this soundbar (no chromecast) with sub and rear speakers. If i get this, would it be compatible? That would save me from finding the tiny remote when I cast a video on the tv. I can give the old soundbar to my parents or something.
