Thanks tynanwong! Look forward to this thread every week.

Noticed the Lysol wipes went from 3 containers (110 wipes each) to 4 containers (80 wipes each). A little less number of wipes but a more even distribution of types.

Anyone have experience with the Olay Total Effects? I have oily skin in my t-zone and a dash of psoriasis around the nose. Currently using Cetaphil but want to change up once in a while.

That's a bit misleading. The #1 ingredient in all three bars is dates, which are not only very high in sugar but also have a very high glycemic index. Those two things together are bad news. And as far as sugar content goes, all three bars would be considered HIGH in sugar. By weight, the apple bar is 40% sugar! That's right, a full 40% of the apple bar is pure sugar. The cashew bar: 37.5%, and the peanut butter bar 33.3%.

For those not familiar with the glycemic index, it refers to how fast the sugar in a food is digested and absorbed into the blood stream, as blood glucose. When blood glucose shoots up rapidly it triggers the pancreas to dump insulin into the bloodstream rapidly. The insulin in the bloodstream tells the body to grab all the circulating blood glucose and store it as fat (which can result in weight gain). This chain reaction then has the further effect of causing blood sugar to then drop rapidly, which re-triggers feelings of hunger and can lead to people actually eating more calories than they otherwise would.

If you're eating these while exercising or doing something active then not a problem, but they'd make a poor snack otherwise.
