have any Canadians used costcotravel.com to arrange a travel booking other than a car rental?

I was looking to book a hotel room and the rates are slightly better than anything else I have seen for the place I am looking at staying the only catch was there was a statement on one of the pages that said you must be a us resident to order from the site.

I read the general terms and conditions and registered for the site and there was no mention of having to declare US residency, so i am wondering if I can book it anyway. I am hesitant to try though as there is a $100/person non-refundable deposit, although if they cancel my order for ineligibility, I would hope the deposits would be refunded.

Does anybody living in Canada have any experience using this site for travel?
