They had a special on the guy who started this on CTV (I think.. maybe CBC) over the weekend. Neat concept, but I think it includes a lot of trust. Apparently is uses an e-bay type of rating system where you can rate the hosts and the guests.
I'd like to hear from anyone who's tried it also.

Couch surfing
If you want to save a bit of coin on your trips why not crash on some strangers' couch??....

I've never done this nor do I know this is safe.
