Is this a crazy ask for a2006 - 2007 CTS-V?
I'm in the market for a used car. The one I really like is the CTS-V.
But, for me to consider it, I would want a deal to be close to the following:
(Edited)Year:2006 - 2007
Price:@$25,000+Tax
Under 50,000 Km, I.e Factory warranty left, or extended thrown in with the deal
Down payment and tradein mix of $4000
48 Month Loan term
Interest rate on the loan at @5% - 5.5% or under
I have Top Rated Credit, but don't want to use cash in my HELOC, as this is a safety net for the future just in case.
Is this doable, or am I smoking crack?
Oh, and a set of winter tires thrown in for luck, and Red is better

Why are the 2007 $10,000+ than the 2006's?

I vote for crack.
There are currently no 2007 CTS-V's listed in the Auto Trader for Ontario. You could go to BC and get one for $40k -- http://www.canadatrader.com/result/d...aspx?ID=771532 (but it's not red).
With such low supply on a nice car, you're not exactly going to get a deal._______________

If you can find a '06 for $25k I assure you something's wrong with it or it's been beat to ****.
Do a search in the US for '06s. http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/search...=1239142008462
They're all around $26-$30k USD. There's an odd one at $22k.Last edited by Jon04CTS; Apr 7th, 2009 at 05:09 PM.

LOL.
Not sure why the 09 CTS V was mentioned when the OP won't even pay market value for a used one, sweet ride or not.
Also, not to burst OP's bubble but high powered cars tend to come with high powered running costs, hoped you also budgeted for premium gas, fast wearing tires, big expensive brake jobs, etc.
