Call your bank and ask, they will tell you if a chargeback is possible or not. It may not be possible this time due to you waiting too long to start one.
In the future it's best not to wait several months before starting a chargeback. But you don't lose anything to call your bank about this one and ask, worst they can do is say no. Doesn't hurt to ask.

Credit Card Chargeback possible?
We've bought a piece of furniture from a large, well known furniture store many months ago. The unit came severely scratched, and costed around 1k. It has been a nightmare trying to get them to replace it. Long story short, they are refusing a refund. Can we file a chargeback? It's been several months and we paid with TD Visa.
Thanks

Might be a good idea to include more details, such as how long is many months? The store know and reason why it took so long to ship? It really wouldn't make sense for you to wait say 3-4 months for something to be shipped to you. I believe TD Visa has a 120 day limit on charge back but it also depends on which visa you have (since TD offers various different packages of Visa). Best option is just talking to a TD rep directly.

Please don't keep the store name secret - we would like to know what it is so we can cease doing business there.

I'm not too sure what they can do unless you also have the card # and the card(credit-debit whatever) that was used to purchase it.

Best bet? Avoid both =P lots of outside furniture stores that have better pricing and willing to haggle.

The amount of time would be nice to know... since uhh... many months can be 2, 3, 4, 5, 12, 15, 20 (or any numbers inbetween). The difference between those time periods can make a big difference for you.
If its longer than 3 months, i got no clue why you were willing to wait that long. I would've done a charge back/cancel my order if it takes them longer than 2 months (heck i would ask how long before i bought and told them i don't want it if it takes longer than a month+).

+1....i think i mentioned in another post that my parents ordered something from them in jan and we just got a call last week saying the order was cancel because they weren't able to get any stock....and they are famous for terrible customer service
-1.....actually I find that Leon's has the best customer service and quality among furniture stores of that end...
