Cool.
That show was very underated. It was a very funny, but short lived series.

Jon Lovitz has a great voice for Jay Sherman. The show was off-beat and I think it lasted two seasons on two different networks.
Glad these shows are getting a second chance on DVD!

One can only hope it pulls a family guy and makes a comeback to TV.

King of the Hill is a great show. Much better than what the Simpsons has become over the last few years IMHO. And don't get me started on Futurama. I never did find that funny at all.is king of the hill suppose to be funny?!
Family Guy was great too, especially in Season 1/2. Season 3 was kind of hit or miss.
And I have my copy of the Critic pre-ordered. Can't wait.

Ahhh, how I miss The Critic, along with the plethora of good shows fox likes to cancel;
Firefly
The Lone Gunmen
Family Guy
John Doe
Subjective of course, but let's just assume "good" stands for "I liked it."
There are a few others, but it's morning so I can't be bothered to stress myself trying to remember the names. -_-

For a little while, they kept The Critic alive online. I watched a few of the 'extra' episodes.
I *think* this is the site: http://www.comedycentral.com/timewasters/d...?show=thecritic
I can't check as I don't want to install Real at work.

I never watched this show during its run, but I love the Simpsons and it looks good. This set is a good deal on Amazon.ca, you'll get free shipping and hopefully for you use a $5 off coupon as well.

Critic was ahead of its time. The type of humor found on Family Guy is basically a rip off of The Critic.

I really miss the Critic, though I don't really feel the humour was that similar to Family Guy's. And the Critic could get fairly sentimental at times.
