The IT crowd DVD

Has anyone seen the UK (Region 2) DVD of the IT crowd for sale anywhere in the GTA?

I know it's going to be released here in September, but I want it now.

I can't even find a torrent of the DVD anywhere. I found a copy on one of the usenet newsgroups, but it was a bad rip.

Any pointers?

Theres a store in Mississauga that sells UK stuff (food, etc.) But they also sell DVDs.

Maybe you can get in touch with them to order it in for u specially.

Yes, I got them straight off the ITV feed when they first aired, too. But the DVD has enough special features to make it worthwhile.

I read somewhere the its coming back for a second season. The first time I tried this show, I hated it. However, I gave it another shot and laughed my ass off.

Season 2 is filming and oh crap, there is an American version coming out. I`m sure it`ll be just awesome. </sarcasm>

Thanks to everyone for all the responses.

The US remake has promise. If they do it the same way they did the office, it should turn out just fine.

Besides, Richard Ayoade who played Moss in the original will also be in the US version.

As for the DVD, I've heard from a few people that the reason this disc hasn't seen wide circulation is because it is apparently a real bugger to crack. Oh well. I don't mind paying for it. There are several people selling it on ebay, most of them are from Australia, strangely enough. If shipping weren't such a bugger, I'd just grad it from one of them. Oh well, if it crosses my path, I'll snap one up.

However, the Region 1 version will be released on September 4 with all the same features as the UK and Australian releases. I guess 6 weeks won't kill me.

I have the DVD, but I never actually got around to watching the bonus material. You've piqued my interest now!
