Canadian Tire is having a Pre-winter sale on all Goodyear Nordic Snow Tires @ 25% off regular price.
These tires are highly rated and at a fraction of the cost of Michelin or BF Goodrich tires.
Looking @ getting 15 inch tires for my civic for only $82,49/tire!
CanadianDriver magazine gave it a favorable review...

have these on my matrix... makes a huge difference! As a way of saving money, you can get a set on 15" rims instead of 16" rims.

what if you have 17 inch rims, can you go smaller ?
how much do those cheap steely rims cost ?
I guess mounting them every season adds up quickly.

What car do you have? As long as the new smaller rims clear the caliper you can use smaller rims and tires. As long as the outer diameter of your original rims+tires and the new set of rim+tires is within 3% difference of each other, you'll be fine. The reason for this is for the speedometer accuracy.

Better get these quick!
The 25% off sale won't come back until they go on clearance during Boxing week! If you wait until then, 1/2 the season will be done already.

Not in BC
I didn't see the 25% off the Nordics in the BC flyer.

That aside, last year around September CT had some really good bundles with steelies and tires, but the steelies are generic and not hubcentric.

I only see one Nordic here,
http://www.canadiantire.ca/AST/brows...interTires.jsp
And it is $44.99 down from $47.49
Checked back again and that's all I am seeing. Perhaps this is not on Alberta flyers?

Thanks Pavel, got it. So mine would come out to 360 bucks plus 200 with 4 rims, around $588 with taxes in. Still a little high but I needed winter tires
