You can usually ask for A card from the customer service desk. I don't get flyers but I have enjoyed cake in the past.
My local location puts an evil harpy at the desk and subjects you to the spanish inquisition before dispensing a card.

really? At my local store, every cashier has a stack of them beside their register, and they offer you a card if they see you don't have one, while supplies last of course.

Yay Lakeshore/Lesie Downtown Toronto Canadian Tire! Get your ServiceOntario needs fulfilled there too, licences (Driver's/sticker renewal, fishing, hunting), Health Card, etc!

same at my local store, last time they didn't even bother to take the card from my hand and just get one from behind the register and scratch it for me.

The best is look at the bar code like mentioned on the first thread.

I can't make out my bar code, either. The scratch card has been really tough to decipher for the last couple of events.

This is the third CT scratch event in a row where I haven't received the flyer. It is very suspicious, because I normally get the flyer when there is no scratch card event going on.

Scratched a small section to check the end bars and they appear to be for chocolate and not for $10.

I also scratched a small horizontal line just above between the two words "THE GOLD" to see the last 4 lines of the barcode and no need to guess. Got 16 cards from our recycle bin and all are chocolate.

Just wondering how to use them. Can you ask the cashier scratch several cards at one time?
It says" no purchase necessary".

Received my card in my community newspaper. The delivery person was so thoughtful and scratched a small (s/he knew the exact spot) area to reveal that 8 at the end of stephroll's card. Should I report or not to report to the community newspaper? Tis the season to lose a job for being greedy?

Yes, no purchase necessary for $5000 gift card or chocolate and 5$ Xmas coupon. But the $10 instant rebate must comes with $10+ purchase.
