Mandarin with English subtitles.
This movie's getting really mixed reviews so far, unlike the "Big Three" (Crouching Tiger, Hero, and House of Flying Daggers), which all received near-unanimous raves.

this movie looks good from the Trailers...........I loved Hidden Dragon, Crouching Tiger, House of Flying Daggers, Hero..........I love them all.
Why are all the ladies so well endowed? I know it is pushed up but did they actually have that back in the day ?

Of those 3, I thought Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon was the best. Hero was solid, House of Flying Daggers really dragged in a lot of places.

I think it was in Tong Dynasty which was relatively a pretty 'liberal' era. Based on the old painting, women did dress with less clothes than other time.

i just saw it tonight.
if it wasn't for the cleavage, i'd probably sleep thru the whole movie. i didn't have enough sleep the previous night. Zhang Yimou sure knows how to get the mainstream viewers to watch arthouse films. and Jay Chou didn't do as badly as i expected but he was still the weak link.
and Chow Yun-Fat oddly reminds me of Sonny Chiba in this film. i think it's the hair and goatee.

I like this movie but exactly crazy about it though. A lot of colour and contrast. The 'war' was pretty good too.

Damn guy, you're 30 and you still don't know?
I think a 'special' trip to Asia is in order.
