D-Link pocket router deal -- Ends today! -> (Ends Nov 22 - $35.99)
I just noticed that Canada Computers has a great deal on the D-Link pocket router for only $38. This little guy is an amazing substitute for the wireless adapter for the Xbox 360. Plus you can use it as an extremely portable router, or a wireless AP. It's great because you can power it from a USB port, so you don't even need to lug around the power brick.
Only problem is, the deal is from this week's specials, so the deal ends today!
I may have to go and grab myself a second one

I'm not sure what you're asking. I can view media from properly configured computers on the the network, if that's what you mean.
The router can be set into 'client' mode where it acts just like the official Microsoft wireless adapter and you can do everything that the official adapter would allow.
So .. basically, you can think of this as a $40 alternative to the $100 Microsoft adapter

LOL. I guess the line 'are you happy to see me, or do you have a router in your pocket?' might apply here.
Good deal since it is USB powered.

I've had that exact problem with them in the past. Their website is quite unreliable from my experience.

I always call ahead to physically check stock and put on hold if quantities are limited. I've been burned too many times by them when I didn't.
I just bought the last one from the Hamilton location, but I see that there is 1 still available online. Thanks to the DumasF for posting this!

So to use this for the xbox, you just plug the cable to the ethernet port on the xbox and connect the usb to power it?

There's a couple steps. First you want to make sure it's configured in client mode to connect to your network (eg. if you have wpa2 enabled, you'll need to set that up). It's best to hook it up to a PC and follow the included instructions for client mode setup. There's a little switch on the bottom to select between router, AP and client modes. Once it can find your wireless router and connect to it, then yeah, all you have to do is plug in the ethernet and usb power cables! So .. it's more like one extra step
