Day bicycle trip and picnic from Toronto

Where to? Finally managed to find my girlfriend a bike, so this weekend, if this crappy weather permits, we want to do a trip somewhere inside or a bit outside of Toronto, have a picnic, enjoy the weather and scenery, then head back.

Any ideas where we can go to?

Edward's Garden, Rouge Beach Park or Petticoat Creek.
Up votes, down votes, they're all votes for me! I thank you!

Biking from Niagara on the Lake is pretty nice, I went there a week ago. There is a bike trail along the Niagara Parkway next to the river, it's fairly scenic and not a very difficult ride. You can even go all the way to Niagara Falls if you like!

We ended up doing the Don Valley trail all the way to Scarborough Bluffs. We were pretty happy, especially that one bit going down to the Bluffs. Coming back up though was a bit of a challenge! Might do the same trip again soon but from Edward's Garden.

For next time, also consider taking the Lakefront trail to Lakefront Promenade Park in Mississauga. It's very nice in there, but be sure to dress a bit warmer due to the wind off the lake!

This might be our next trip, actually. It sounds fun.
