Forgot to add that, YES it is redeemable on steam as it's just a code you put when you try to get into the vietnam expansion.
Simply just enter the code and you're good to go!

thanks got mirror's edge and bfbc2 kit. too bad I already bought simcity 4 from steam...

For others, you just need an American address to register with RecycleBank in order to get the coupon. You can then pay EA store with Canadian credit card.Last edited by dcxx; Dec 30th, 2010 at 07:32 AM.

Thanks - didn't think Vietnam was worth $15, but $5 sounds good to me.

just grabbed simcity 4 so thanks for the deal.
Basically I signed up on RecycleRank with an address from http://shiptotheborder.comdo
(You can use this one if you want - it's from shiptotheborder.com - this is only useful if you are using a download)
793 Center Street
Lewiston, New York
14092
Phone (716) 405-7116
It takes about 20-30 minutes to get your confirmation email from Recyclebin - so be patient.
Once you have it you can get 175 in rewards really quickly - everything you need is listed in the OP's first link.
Then redeem your reward under either Electronics or Kids.
After you checkout in recyclebank you'll get a redeem code that is applied immediately.
There wasn't anything I found in the TOS that prevented multiple accounts but there isn't much I would want under $10 anyway.

If you guys want to gift Vietnam to someone who picked up BC2 anywhere but steam (ea store, EB, FS, etc), it won't work.
http://forums.steampowered.com/forum....php?t=1650058You have bought the base game somewhere else, and someone has gifted you Vietnam on Steam - well... Long story. The gifting will succeed. Steam will know that you have Vietnam, but you will not see it in the Steam client because you do not have the base game. Therefore you will not be able to view the 16-digit code for Vietnam. Contact Steam support to resolve this.
There's probably some assbackwards way of doing it on the EA store and giving your friend the CD key, but I don't know the specifics on that if the purchased key is tied to that particular email account.
