so now with everyone (in canada at least) returning their bottles (and other company's bottles) due to the BPA ban in canada (click here for the thread on where to return your bottles as it was moved to the parenting section...don't know why the mods did this as it won't be viewed as much unfortunately), Avent is offering a free sample of their VIA feeding system (disposable 10 use bottle) or a magic sippy cup.

Took a while before i got a CSR (NOTE: for those of us that forgot our high school french.....when you first call there's a LONG message in french....be patient and you'll eventually hit the english version....see post #3 for hours as the first time i called i actually managed to make out that they were closed...didn't realize there was an english msg afterwards), but they'll ask for your address and the age of your child. Since my son is only 4 months old, the CSR offered to send me the VIA system, but since it's disposable, i opted for the sippy, since i figure you can use it again later. Plus the rings and nipples on their regular bottles fit onto the sippy.

Funny thing is i didn't even say much and she knew why i was calling! "um, i'm calling because i understand you're giving", then she kind of rudely interrupted me and asked for my info. Maybe she was tired of getting these calls all day long?!?!?!

OK, I got in. Got one 7oz and one 9oz sippy cup and the $20 MIR. From what I could gather, everybody gets the $20 MIR with the samples.

Just ordered the feeding system for my 3 week old. took about 10 -15 minutes on hold. they also asked for e-mail address and will send me a link on how to get the 20 rebate.

Thank you...just got thru after ~8min, they are sending me 2 sippy cups plus the $20 rebate coupon via email. Forgot to ask how long it will take delivery of the cups, anybody received them yet?
